Reef Group are bringing forward proposals for a new campus that will reinforce Stevenage’s position on the global stage in the life science sector. Stevenage is already the largest Cell and Gene Therapy Cluster outside the U.S. and the Campus will facilitate the next generation of pioneering research and production.
The development will deliver a green landscaped campus with world-class facilities and amenities with sustainability led design. This investment will make a substantial economic contribution to Stevenage and the UK. It will provide significant local benefits including the creation of new jobs and apprenticeships, giving local students a direct path to employment in the life sciences sector.
The proposed development would create new jobs, apprenticeships and training facilities that would provide a direct route of employment for students, particularly those specialising in life sciences. Georgia-Rose shares her experiences of this in the video shown on this page, and further information regarding the skills and job opportunities the development would bring forward are shown here. We have also been working closely with North Hertfordshire College to develop a skills programme for local students.
We will be holding a drop-in event between 3:30pm and 7:30pm at the Gordon Craig Theatre (Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre, Lytton Way, Stevenage, SG1 1LZ) on Thursday 9 March 2023. Please drop in at any time and visit the team to find out more and have your say.
You can find out more about the proposals on this website and have your say on the plans.
